Tribune en sportaccommodatie voor een voetbalclub

Door een voetbalvereniging die actief is in de topklasse werden wij gevraagd een sportaccommodatie te ontwerpen, aanvullend aan het bestaande clubhuis. Er is vraag naar meer tribunecapaciteit, een naschoolse opvang, en ondersteunende ruimtes zoals kleedkamers, scheidsrechtersruimtes en medische voorzieningen.
Een nieuwe kijk op tribunes
Voor dit ontwerp is het archetype van de tribune onder de loep genomen. Het zitgedeelte is opgetild en aangevuld met een brede trappartij, waardoor een alzijdig oploopbare tribune ontstaat: de berg. Naast ontsluiting zorgt de trappartij ervoor dat in geval van drukte een extra zitcapaciteit beschikbaar is.
Het project laat goed zien dat het ter discussie stellen van uitgangspunten en aannames kan leiden tot mooie oplossingen, waar de hele vereniging van kan profiteren.
Programma en regelgeving
Het ontwerpen van de tribuneaccommodatie werd complex door het keurslijf van wet- en regelgeving voor sportgebouwen en KNVB-verenigingen. Hieraan is voldaan, en daarbij zijn door slim te programmeren nieuwe sociale functies (de bar en naschoolse opvang) gekoppeld met de oudbouw. De accommodatie wordt meervoudig en divers bruikbaar gemaakt en er ontstaat een logica in de uitbreiding.
Het ontwerp zorgt tevens voor een kwaliteitsimpuls voor het bestaande gebouw, dat sponsors meer mogelijkheden kan bieden en meer omzet kan genereren door verhuur en drankverkoop.

Stand and sportaccommodation for a soccerclub

By a football club that is active in the class we were asked to design a sportsaccommodation and stand, in addition to the existing clubhouse. There is demand for more capacity in the stand, an after-school care, and support areas such as changing rooms, referee rooms and medical facilities.
Rethink stands
For this design the archetype of the soccer stand is redefined. The seating area is lifted and supplemented with a broad staircase, which creates the possibility to enter the stand on all sides: the mountain. In addition to the extra routing the stairs provide extra seating capacity if needed.
The project clearly shows that the questioning of assumptions can create beautiful solutions, where the whole society can benefit.
Programs and regulations
Designing the stand property was complex by the of rules and regulations for sport buildings and KNVB associations. Through clever programming, new social features (the bar and after school care) are coupled with the old building. The accommodation will be multiple and diverse usable, and gives a logic to the extension.
The design also ensures a quality boost for the existing building, which sponsors can offer more options and can generate more revenue through rentals and drink sales.
